Abhay is a Manager and Practice Group Leader with MicroSave’s Public Sector Development domain. His work includes project management to support restructuring of financial institutions and member-based organisations through strategic business planning, business process re-engineering with IT/MIS solutions as core component, financial planning and, risk management including credit scoring model for microfinance banks and, development of sales and marketing plan. He is also engaged in business planning and strategy formulation for value chain financing by financial institutions and, technical assistance to farmer’s collective for profit institutions to achieve growth and profitability. Abhay has worked with range of institutions including commercial and thrift banks, non-profit organisations, international donor agencies and, financial institutions including MFI and micro pension providers in India, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Indonesia and the Philippines.
