¬¬Dorcas Muthoni is an Associate in the Digital Financial Services domain at MicroSave. Her work is focussed around the Helix Institute of Digital Finance where she is primarily involved in Agent Network Accelerator (ANA) Research Programme, a collaboration between MicroSave and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to research on agent networks in the world. Dorcas assists in marketing and communication of The Helix brand as well training and consultancy. Prior to joining MicroSave, Dorcas worked as an E-business Officer at Guaranty Trust Bank, Kenya and with Western Kenya Community Driven Development and Flood Mitigation Project (WKCDD), a World Bank project supporting marginalised communities to participate in wealth-creating livelihood activities to eradicate poverty and reduce their vulnerability to floods. She holds a degree in Economics with Information Technology from Maseno University and has full professional proficiency in English and some basic knowledge in French. She has work experience in Zambia, Pakistan, Nigeria and Kenya.
