Abhishek Anand leads Inclusive Finance and Banking Practice in Asia. He is a microfinance and banking expert and has over 9 years of experience gained through projects with banks, MFIs and financial cooperatives in India, the Philippines, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Zambia, Tanzania, Myanmar and Afghanistan. Abhishek has experience of managing large projects and leading multi-country teams. He was appointed as the country manager for MicroSave, Indonesia from October, 2011 to September, 2012. He has good experience in project management as well as in technical assistance delivery. He has worked on developing strategy and strengthening delivery systems, designing and developing policies and processes to improve efficiency and overall sustainability. He also has good experience in social performance management and client protection, human resource management for organisational development.
