Angela M. Wambugu is Associate Director at MicroSave and leads the Responsible Finance Working Group, which constitutes Social Performance Management, Client Protection, and Financial Capability. She also leads Inclusive Finance and Banking engagements with a focus on Product Development and Strategic Marketing. She has 15 years’ experience in the retail financial services sector both as practitioner and consultant and has to date worked with over fifteen (15) organisations in nine (9) countries, namely Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Ethiopia, Rwanda and the Philippines. Angela also plays a key role in organisational and human capital development within MicroSave and is part of the leadership team responsible for institutional strategy and change.
